Side-A
1st Verse
'I was always one of the quiet ones at those parties.' Lucy says as she crosses the tree that has collapsed creating a bridge over a stream that gently trickles by. The sun stretches through the tall trees that surround them.
'I remember, I used to have to come and get you to socialise with everyone.' Alice replies, as she climbs up the tree trunk and follows.
'It wasn't easy, I used to hate being dragged in front of people.' Lucy states as she reaches the end of the tree and climbs down, she taps her fingers on the bark while Alice makes her way over.
Alice drops down, branches snapping and cracking beneath her feet
'I know, aren't you glad I did though? You got to meet everyone and we had it pretty good there for a few years.' Alice smiles, as they work their way deeper into the woodlands.
'We sure did, do you think any of them made it?' Lucy asks.
'I mean there's no way Elliott didn't, that dude was stubborn. He wouldn't stand for dying in his sleep, if he was gonna die it would be in some catastrophe of epic proportions, like getting hit by a meteor or by a car full of bank robbers making their escape.' Alice smiles at the ridiculousness.
They work their way further into the woodland, rays of sunlight slicing through the branches.
'So, we get to the destination and then we do the first verse right?' Lucy asks.
Alice is confident, 'That's the plan, are you happy with our song choice?'
'I think so, it's a strange thing having to decide what the last song you'll hear will be.' Lucy replies as she makes her way through some bramble.
